Registered Nurse

Role Summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic band 5 registered nurse with experience either in respiratory, general medicine, or primary care. You will plan, implement and deliver high standards of care and will be responsible for screening, recruitment, consent, data collection and retention of patients and carers into research studies and clinical trials.

Research covers disease areas including Cystic Fibrosis, bronchiectasis, Interstitial Lung Disease, asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Lung Disease. You will not be expected to be a specialist in these disease areas as you will work closely with the clinicians, practitioners and Clinical Nurse Specialists to deliver the research. Collaboration and cross working with MDTs, regional Services, University, Primary Care, Commercial and non-commercial teams will require an adaptive and flexible approach to working.
