Registered Nurse (N2) - E6 Medicine Clinical Teaching Unit

Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. Duties include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, leadership within the health care team, and coordination of patient care and discharge.

Experience

• Recent acute medical nursing experience required.

Education

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.

Certification, Licensure & Registration

• Current CRNM registration required.
• Active participation in professional associations such as the Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.
• Successful completion of the Oncology course when scheduled by the employer.
