Position Overview
**Job Description**
**UW Medical Center – Northwest** has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our **Outpatient IV Infusion Unit** .
**DEPARTMENT INFORMATION:**
Outpatient IV Infusion is located on the first floor of the main hospital at UW Medical Center-Northwest. We offer infusion therapy for a broad spectrum of patients, including those with chronic inflammatory conditions and immune-mediated conditions. This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated team that always put their patients first.
**WORK SCHEDULE:**
+ 60% FTE, 8 hours per shift
+ Day shifts only
+ Will include weekends
**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Screen patients for administration of medications via IV infusion
+ Ensure patients who are presenting are able to tolerate their infusions
+ Place IVs, and initiate, assess and observe patients during infusions
+ Disconnect IVs and monitor...
