Research Associate (RM/DP Modeling/Empirical Model/Data Analytics)

A Research Associate position is currently available in the Division of Information Technology and Operations Management (ITOM), NBS. The role of the RA involves developing a competitive dynamic pricing model for multi‑flight airlines; an empirical model that assess the impact of dynamic pricing on customer loyalty; processing a massive real‑world database to validate the models; and producing research papers for top conferences and top journals in operations management and data science.

• Support the PI/Co-PIs in research efforts
• Develop a competitive dynamic pricing model for multi‑flight airlines that can be implemented in real world.
• Develop an empirical model investigating the impact of dynamic pricing volatility on customer loyalty.
• Process the airline transaction data (2017‑2019, about 20GB) and develop the necessary research databases for specific purposes needed for the overall completion of the project.
