Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement models and simulations for soft robotic gripper designs
- Design and optimise soft gripper structures for manufacturing use cases
- Fabricate and prototype soft robotic systems using appropriate materials and techniques
- Develop and implement control strategies for soft actuators and grippers
- Plan and conduct experiments, testing, and performance evaluations
- Analyse experimental data and prepare technical reports, publications, and presentations
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to project milestones
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Relevant academic training or project experience in mechanical design, robotics or mechatronics systems, solid mechanics or soft materials
