Position Overview

HIC hosts over 30 years of health data for nearly 20% of Scotland’s population and supports secure, privacy-preserving research within our ISO27001-accredited TRE. We are expanding our platform to support emerging needs including AI/ML workloads and hybrid cloud architectures. If you are a skilled infrastructure engineer with a passion for problem-solving, security, and innovation you could be working with the team at the University of Dundee.

Your priorities will include:

  • Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure across local, private, and public cloud environments.

  • Work closely with developers, analysts, information governance teams, and researchers to deliver secure and performant technical solutions.

  • Build and support custom configurations, including virtualised environments, containers, and hybrid cloud architectures.
