NO BLOCKED SCHEDULING REQUESTS
of beds:

Ratios: Days : Nights :

Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Client, COPD, CHF, ortho (shoulders, hips, knees), appy, chole, diverticulitis, bowel resection, pancreatitis.

Experience or 'Must have' skills: MS/PCU/Tele or CCU experience

Are RNs required to titrate drips?: No

Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Heparin per protocol

Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Charge available on both shifts. Supervisor available on nights.

Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios: Day and night shift PCTs with : max ratio.

RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): Chronic Bipap and cpap.

Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips?: Remote monitoring tele. Monitor tech on CCU to provide analysis. MS nurses are not responsible for interpretation.
