Position Overview
Main Duties of a Construction Safety Officer 1. Site Safety Management
- Ensure all construction activities comply with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act , MOM regulations , and company safety policies.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe practices or conditions.
- Stop work immediately if serious safety violations or life‑threatening conditions are observed.
- Monitor high‑risk activities such as lifting operations, confined space entry, hot works, and work‑at‑height.
- Prepare and maintain Safety Reports , Risk Assessments (RA) , Safe Work Procedures (SWP) , and Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) records.
- Keep updated records of accident reports , near‑miss incidents , and safety statistics .
