Responsibilities

• Perform abrasive blasting on industrial equipment, structural steel, tanks, vessels, and piping to specified surface profiles
• Conduct surface preparation including cleaning, masking, profile checks, and environmental readings prior to coating
• Set up, operate, and maintain blasting equipment, compressors, pots, hoses, and air supply systems
• Read and interpret blasting and coating specifications, work orders, and technical data sheets
• Maintain blasting media, environmental, and quality control logs as required by the project
• Perform daily equipment inspections, troubleshoot common issues, and complete minor repairs
• Operate safely in confined spaces, at heights, and in remote camp environments
