Summary The typical seasonal EOD period for this position is November through April, but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: early to mid-December 2026. Responsibilities This position is located in Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve in the Maintenance Division. Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve: Gustavos Alaska Major Duties are: Perform simple and routine maintenance and repair of grounds, exterior structures, buildings, equipment and related utilities. Assist higher graded maintenance mechanics/workers or journeyman tradesmen in the performance of their work. Perform minor carpentry repairs using simple measures and hand tools on such tasks as replacing broken planks on picnic tables; broken windows using precut stock, makes minor adjustments or replaces hinges, latches and catches and minor building, repairs.
