SENIOR COMPONENTS ENGINEER (Fixed term 18 months)

Location: Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico

To complete projects with suppliers to provide an uninterrupted flow of components for assembly operations that meet instrument, quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

• Complete technical projects with suppliers to improve supplier process capacity, capability, maintainability, instrument assembly capability, and instrument output performance.
• Determine tooling and spare parts requirements to maintain component supply.
• Provide technical support for approval/validation of changes/improvements in supplier processes.
• Provide technical support for resolution of component quality issues.
• Potentially coordinate RMI/CAD/BOM actives.
• Produce component cost comparisons and analyze alternative manufacturing methods for cost improvement projects.
