Senior Data Analytics Engineer (Bogotá)

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Audit Analytics Director, the Data Analytics Engineer enables GIA Data Analysts and Audit Teams to deliver efficient data‑driven audit testing through curated datasets and self‑serve applications.

• Identify, integrate, and operationalise new data sources into the GIA Data Analytics environment
• Run data input quality checks to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Develop scheduled data preparation routines to transform raw inputs into curated datasets with time‑stamping for historical accuracy
• Document data integration processes and train others to eliminate single points of failure
• Maintain an organised data analytics library including field definitions, data limitations, and provenance details
• Maintain the GIA Data Analytics AWS platform. Manage vulnerabilities, patching, data and code backups.
• Mentor Data Analysts and Internal Audit teams on the use of available data
