Senior Freight Operations Coordinator

Our client is a well-established European trailer operator and Freight forwarder, a market leader in the provision of European logistics services to a large number of very substantial manufacturers, importers and exporters both in the UK and in Europe.

We are now looking for a Senior Freight Operations Coordinator to work at our client's office in St Albans.

Responsibilities

• Organising the movement of freight across Europe and the UK.
• Communicating accurately in written and verbal form complex instructions to both Customers and Suppliers.
• Negotiating with both Customers and Suppliers to achieve the most cost-effective solution.
• Providing the highest standards of Customer service.
• Processing Customer orders through use of the bespoke in-house operating system with an emphasis on attention to detail.
• Compiling customs documentation to facilitate shipment of our client's freight into and from Europe. <...
