Stantec is seeking a Senior Geophysicist in our Calgary, Alberta office. The role involves leading and growing Stantec’s Geophysics West practice, collaborating with teams across Canada to deliver integrated geophysical services, and providing senior technical leadership for near‑surface geophysics projects. Key Responsibilities
Provide senior technical leadership in the planning, execution, interpretation, and reporting of near‑surface geophysical investigations across Western Canada and national projects. Lead and support geophysical programs using methods such as seismic refraction, MASW, downhole VSP, resistivity, GPR, EM, TEM, magnetics, and vibration monitoring, including related acquisition and interpretation workflows. Support geophysical applications for infrastructure, environmental, geohazard, resource, and risk‑mitigation projects, characterizing soil stratigraphy, buried infrastructure, bedrock, shear wave velocity, and other subsurface fe...
