Senior HR Manager

Job Summary

The Plant HR Manager is responsible for managing employee relations activities at designated branch plant locations. This includes ensuring compliance with HR-related legislation and regulations (e.g., PIPEDA, ESA, CNESST, WSIB) to mitigate legal risks and maintain non-union status where applicable. The role involves conducting employee morale and wage/benefit surveys, analyzing employment trends, and providing actionable recommendations to management. Additionally, the HR Manager supports local hourly recruitment (including diversity hiring), advises on policy interpretation, and assists with performance management, discipline, restructuring, and benefits administration.
