and main responsibilitiesThe Senior Inventory Manager is responsible for leading the operational delivery of inventory management and supply chain services across all UHD sites within the One Dorset Procurement Service (ODPS). The role focuses on ensuring the efficient planning, procurement, storage, and distribution of goods required for frontline clinical services. This includes overseeing inventory teams, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring that stock levels, purchasing activity, and financial controls align with organisational policies and support patient care.
The post holder works closely with clinical teams, procurement specialists, and external suppliers to ensure that materials and products are available when needed, while also driving cost efficiency and compliance.
