Job Description:
The Lab Analyst II is responsible for performing advanced analytical testing, wet chemistry analyses, environmental testing, and instrument-based measurements to support production, safety, and regulatory compliance. This role requires strong technical expertise, accuracy in data handling, and adherence to laboratory, industrial, and nuclear safety standards. Responsibilities: Determine isotopic and total uranium content using wet chemical preparation techniques and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Analyze trace elemental impurities in uranium materials using ICPMS techniques and equipment. Operate ICPMS systems with understanding of mass spectrometry principles, plasma generation systems, and electronic and sample introduction troubleshooting.
