Position Overview
Responsible for planning, developing, and optimizing architectural layouts for semiconductor manufacturing tool installations within cleanroom environments. This role ensures efficient space utilization, compliance with facility standards, and seamless integration of tools, utilities, and support systems.
Senior designers typically function as the lead designer: often tasked with large areas, entire buildings, or major systems in semiconductor and other support facilities. On large projects lead designers often find themselves having a multi-person designer support team. Designers at this level are considered highly capable, muti-faceted, reliable, efficient, high-speed, and self-reliant team members. The incumbent has experience in multiple subject areas and detailed knowledge of the systems required.
