Position Overview

Job Description

The Senior Operations Engineer is responsible for performing daily Hong Kong Satellite Network Operation Center operational duties and delivering 24-hour roster-based VSAT fault resolution/Operation request
services and TV broadcasting service. This position ensures uninterrupted operations and high service levels for Global Service customers.

Major Responsibilities

Service Monitoring & Incident Response

  • Perform 24/7 round the clock monitoring to ensure service levels are maintained for Global Service customers, guaranteeing customer satisfaction through performance oversight.

  • Continuously monitor alarms and respond promptly to anomalies.

    • Service Support & Restoration

  • Diagnose and resolve system faults (Fault Handling) to ensure uninterrupted operations.

  • Execute operational requests in accordance with established procedures.
