Senior Systems Engineer, Configuration & CAD Design

Overview

This role is part of Advanced Concepts and Enterprise Engineering (ACE) and supports Blue Origin’s mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. As an Aerospace Systems Engineer, you will configure the Reentry System and directly impact the design and operation of future Blue Origin missions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the overall physical integration and packaging of the structural, mechanical, fluids and avionics subsystems within the integrated vehicle.
• Create and manage interface definitions between subsystems with appropriate control documents and ensure that the configuration supports major design reviews and program milestones.
• Continually assess design for integrated manufacturing, assembly, test and operations and drive design to optimize for manufacturability, quality, and cost.
• Support development of system requirements, flow down, and verification planning.
