BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support our work as a prime contractor on a high-profile U.S. Navy weapon system. Accuracy, integrity, subject matter expertise, and the ability to work well independently and with others are important traits we expect the successful candidate to possess and demonstrate.
This position supports BAE Systems as SSP s system integration contractor and reports to the Interface Management program area, which manages interface requirements between subsystems. This role is responsible for serving as the day-to-day point of contact between the customers, the program area engineers, and external contractor stakeholders. This role will ensure passing of accurate and timely information across organizations, synchronize engineering and programmatic milestones, and accelerate problem resolution to support system development.
