Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Inspect aircraft structures and sheet metal components for cracks, corrosion, dents, warping, and other structural defects.
- Perform structural modifications, repairs, and replacements on military aircraft in accordance with OEM Technical Manuals, Engineering Drawings, and approved repair schemes.
- Fabricate, fit, and install sheet metal parts including skins, frames, ribs, doublers, and brackets using appropriate tools and techniques such as riveting, drilling, bending, and forming.
- Ensure all work is completed within the allocated time frame and meets the quality standards of the company, customers, and regulatory authorities (e.g., FAA).
- Accurately document all maintenance and repair activities performed on aircraft structures.
