Summary This position is located within Environmental Management Services (EMS) of the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System. The incumbent is responsible for the program oversight and management of uniform issuance, distribution and inventory, specialty textile items, and facility issued scrubs. Responsibilities Duties include but limited to: Perform full range of duties related to sewing, hemming, and repairing of uniforms to ensure that all items are clean and in satisfactory condition. Maintain compliance of the uniform program Ensure issuance of uniforms prepare yearly Textile reports Ensure that par levels are properly set and maintained for all uniform orders to ensure no lapse in uniform assignments Collects and maintains statistical data as necessary for the preparation of reports and analysis Initiate quotes and proper documentation which supports credit card orders Properly inventory and monitor specialty items.
