Position Overview
Temp to Hire for the right candidate! Awesome opportunity to obtain Class B license! Starting Pay: $20.10/hr. Location: Sarasota, FL Essential Job Duties:
Performs repair and installation of concrete sidewalks, curb & gutter, driveways and handicap ramps. Constructs complex forming
projects utilizing wood and metal products while maintaining and setting to proper grade. Performs drainage pipe installation, builds
custom concrete catch basins, headwalls and spillways.
Performs asphalt repair and maintenance on county roadways. Includes operation of tools and equipment associated with road repair and
modifications, road cuts, and pothole repair. All work is done to Department of Transportation (DOT) specifications. Duties include
setting up the required Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) for safety, flagging per MOT standards, performing labor intensive tasks
associated with shoveling, spreading, and compacting asphalt.
