Development and philanthropic work are critical to SLCC, higher education, and many other fields. SLCC’s enriching Development Student Ambassador Program allows students from diverse fields and backgrounds to learn about these fields through collaboration with the SLCC Development Office. This unique experience offers an insider’s look into the complexities of higher education by working alongside Development Officers in corporate and foundation relations, development, planned giving, donor relations, scholarships, advancement services, and stewardship. Students gain practical knowledge and skills that enrich their social and academic experiences while honing leadership skills and building a professional network.
