Last mile is a term used in supply chain management and transportation planning to describe the movement of goods from a transportation hub to a final destination in the home. The final transportation hub situated nearest to the customer is referred to as Delivery Station which is responsible for the final Customer interactions (Delivery and Pickup of return packages). Over last couple of years, AMZL (Amazon Logistics) delivery stations have grown organically to cater to multiple use cases across different geographies.
