Sourcing and Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering best cost price outcomes across a portfolio of Own Brand products
• Supporting category strategies and driving long-term value for co-operatives and customers
• Leading supplier negotiations, tenders, and sourcing initiatives
• Working closely with Category Product Managers, Product Developers, and suppliers
• Optimising cost, quality, innovation, and supply outcomes
• Maintaining a deep understanding of category cost drivers, commodity movements, supplier capability, and market trends
• Identifying opportunities to improve supplier performance, reduce costs, and create competitive advantage.

Requirements

• Experience in a procurement, sourcing, buying, or commercial role, ideally within FMCG, food, or retail.
• Strong understanding of cost models, manufacturing processes, and the drivers impacting cost of goods.
