Position Overview

Job Requirement

To receive and control goods and deliveries; and store and issue goods as required in accordance with BSS and company policy.

Main Responsibilities

  • To be fully conversant with, and to strictly adhere to Central Purchasing and BSS Purchasing procedures.
  • To agree stock levels with appropriate Head of Department and to order items in accordance with that level.
  • To help maintain the BSS system, keeping suppliers, products, categories and prices up to date.
  • To ensure all stores are issued in accordance with the BSS requisitions.
  • To ensure that BSS requisitions are correctly prepared and marked with the department for which the goods are intended – that they are dated and signed for by an authorized person.
  • To ensure that invoices are matched with BSS purchase orders and that quantity and pricing are checked for accuracy.
