Job title: Study Centre Assistant

Salary: CSET 10, £26,403 FTE, £18,413 prorated 

Hours: 30 per week, term time only + INSET

Contract type: Permanent 

About the Role

Downend School is looking for a dedicated Study Centre Assistant to join our collaborative and dedicated team. Working under the direction of the Literacy Lead you will play a vital role in our Study Centre by supporting students, particularly those with low literacy levels, to reach their full potential. You will empower these pupils to achieve personal academic success and fully experience everything school has to offer.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver designated learning activities and pre-planned lessons to students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to improve literacy and wider curriculum outcomes.
