Substation Fitter

VGC Group are recruiting for the following position:

Role – 2 x Mechanical Fitters (Substation)

Location – Peterhead (AB42 3BZ)

Salary/Rate – £34 (PAYE + Holdiay Pay), Weekend overtime rate £51 

Duration – Monday 3rd August - Friday 28th September 

Overview: VGC Group are currently looking for 2 x fitters for SGT (Super Grid Transformer) replacement works in Peterhead. 

Required Experience: Previous experience an a mechinical fitter in a substation enviroment. Experience with SGT replacments also desirable. 

Required Qualifications:

- EUSR Utility SHEA Power 

- SSE Cat 1c, Entry to a distrobution or primary substation with exposed conductors 

- First Aid (Training can be organised)

- Manual Handling (Training can be organised)

- COSHH Awareness (Training can be organised)

- Fire Safety Awareness(Training can be organised)
