Position Overview
Summary This position is located within the DOE/NNSA Office of Emergency Management, Office of Continuity. The incumbent serves in a supervisory capacity as one of two Division Directors. A successful candidate will have experience with interpreting and applying national continuity policy; leading teams; contributing to the creation of continuity and other plans; coordinating continuity training; conducting and evaluating continuity drills and exercises; and drafting after action reviews. Responsibilities As a Supervisory Emergency Management Specialist, you will: Be responsible for leading, alongside the Director--continuity preparedness efforts for the Department, to include develop and/or deliver planning documents, plans, templates, checklists, training, exercises, and evaluation events.
