Summary This position is part of the Y-12 Field Office, Assistant Manager for Safeguards and Security. As the Deputy Assistant Manager for Safeguards and Security, you will manage and oversee the safeguards and security program and cybersecurity program at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Responsibilities As the Deputy Assistant Manager for Safeguards and Security, you will: Supervise and direct the work of subordinate staff, including planning and assigning work, evaluating performance, providing feedback and supporting staff development. Direct YFO activities at Y-12 facilities which include protection program management, physical security systems, protective force, information protection, personnel security, nuclear material control and accountability, classification, cybersecurity, and the Office of Defense Nuclear Security S&S budget process.
