Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Fly the Cessna 208 Caravan on low-level geophysical survey operations in accordance with project, safety, and procedural requirements
- Maintain familiarity with all relevant aviation regulations, notices, circulars, and the Flight Operations Manual
- Take responsibility for the safe operation of the aircraft and the safety of occupants and property carried during flight time
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and checklists per the Flight Operations Manual and Aviation Authority Regulations
- Contribute to Project Safety Plans and Risk Assessments
- Advise other pilots and junior staff on operational and safety matters
- Undertake training-type duties in accordance with company and/or Aviation Authority approval
- Maintain accurate flight training records and daily flight and duty information for upload to the Air Operations Management System
