This role leads a team of engineers delivering HVDC control and DC protection solutions for wind farm connections and interconnectors. Key responsibilities include design validation, managing engineering work packages, and promoting a “Right first time” culture through mentoring and process improvement.

Reporting to both UK and global department heads, the role involves managing up to 10 engineers, developing HVDC control and protection concepts, and coordinating innovative solutions. It also includes resource planning, employee training, and contributing to a globally integrated delivery model.
