ABOUT THE ROLE

Volkswagen South Africa is seeking a Temporary Project Engineer – Logistics to deliver and manage end-to-end logistics and material-handling projects that support production, localization, and export requirements, ensuring efficient, safe, high-quality, and cost-effective material flow through coordination with internal teams and external contractors. This position is based in the Logistics Department - Production (Kariega)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement logistics requirements for new projects, production requests, upgrades, and approved improvement initiatives
• Plan and prepare production and warehouse layouts, logistics concepts, and material handling solutions
• Develop packaging specifications for local, export, and CKD parts
