Position Overview
Be a key player at Alta Gas as a Terminal Operator 2 in North Pine, managing rail yard operations safely. Your hands-on approach will help maintain high safety and operational standards.
In this role, you will oversee loading railcars with propane and butane and ensure compliance with Canadian Railway Operating Rules. Candidates with oil and gas and heavy equipment experience are preferred. This position requires communication with commercial teams and continuous skill development to enhance operator competence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load railcars with LPGs safely and efficiently
• Move railcars using a railcar mover and conductor
• Conduct snow removal in the rail yard
• Confirm proper loading and sealing of railcars
• Report safety and environmental concerns via EHS system
