If you are interested in working within an inter-professional team playing a key role in linking the needs of Rural Home Care clients with appropriate health and community services then this Therapy Assistant position will be of interest to you. The Therapist Assistant provides comprehensive services for clients within the program or service area in which they work. The Therapy Assistant ensures the level of therapeutic recreation practice in their clinical area is evidence based, patient and family centered and in accordance with policies, procedures and standards of practice. The Therapy Assistant completes assessment, treatment, education and management of the clients* and provides clinical support and consultation to the assigned program/service area(s).
