Trainee Decontamination Technician – Multi‑Skill CDU Role

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking an Assistant Technical Officer (ATO) to support the Cowlairs Central Decontamination Unit (CDU). The role involves decontaminating, assembling, packaging, and sterilising reusable medical devices while working in a shift pattern from Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will receive full training in decontamination processes and will be part of a multi-skilled workforce, supporting the reprocessing of approximately 12 million instruments annually.
