Do you have a sharp eye for a great story and the drive to uncover news happening right on your doorstep? Do you have a keen eye for what makes a viral video? We’re looking for a Trainee Live News Reporter to join our dynamic news team at the Nottingham Post.

You will be an enthusiastic aspiring journalist with a relevant journalism degree or NCTJ qualification, who has the writing skills and news sense to join the fast paced world of regional journalism. You will be just as comfortable behind the camera as you are in front of it, with a good understanding of what makes engaging video content.

We’re looking for fresh ideas and new perspectives from people from a wide range of backgrounds, and we want you to tell us the stories you believe are important from our many communities so we can continue to diversify our content.
