The Care for Hedland Environmental Association seeks two motivated team players to assist with the coordination of the 2026/2027 Port Hedland Community Flatback Turtle Monitoring Program. Care For Hedland is looking for two Evening Program Coordinators (times tidal dependent, including late nights & some weekends). The contracts could be broken down into one-month periods or negotiated set periods for suitable applicants.

Experience in the collection of scientific data from nesting turtles - flipper tagging, PIT tagging and biometric information (longitudinal & width and individual animal health) and nest excavations ideal and previous experience with working with volunteers and providing guided tours viewed favourably.
