Position Overview
Join Coeur Mining as a Senior Underground Project Geologist to advance precious metals extraction at the Rainy River mine. This hybrid role promises exciting challenges in geology while focusing on safety and collaboration.
As the Senior Geologist, you will report to the Chief Geologist and take charge of all underground geological activities. Key responsibilities include ore control, geological drilling, and data management, ensuring adherence to safety protocols while enhancing operational efficiency. You will also play a critical role in mentoring and evaluating team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Champion sound software and data management practices
• Communicate regularly with Engineering and Mine Operations
• Support the grade control processes as needed
• Co-coach and mentor non-technical staff
