Vendor Operations Specialist

Role Overview

Porter is looking for a Business Associate – Packets & Movers Operations (Vendor Operations Associate) to own end-to-end coordination between customers and vendors, ensuring smooth execution of shifting requests through strong communication, negotiation, and operational follow-through. The role is critical in driving customer satisfaction, vendor alignment, and timely completion of all movement jobs, along with ideation for business expansion.

Responsibilities

Customer Management

• Understand complete shifting requirements from customers (inventory, location, timelines, special handling needs)
• Provide accurate and competitive quotations based on internal pricing guidelines
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers during the entire shifting lifecycle
• Ensure clarity of expectations around pricing, timelines, and service scope
