NVA Canada’s VT Practicum Program offers final-year veterinary technician students the chance to gain real-world experience in a supportive, dynamic environment. Work alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs to develop your clinical skills in patient care, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, surgical assistance, radiology and more. Enhance your communication abilities with medical teams and clients, preparing you for a successful career as an RVT.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and RVTs in daily clinical care of patients.
• Perform laboratory procedures and prepare samples.
• Support anesthesia and surgical assistance during operations.
• Help with radiographic imaging and interpretation.
