Melville,NY - USAPosition RequirementsThis role is key on the team in executing tasks in the hospital contract revenue cycle and works closely with Client Services, Patient Revenue Accounting, and FP&A.The individual should be well versed in accounting principles and the full revenue cycle (contract to cash) end-to-end. The role touches various tasks related to billing, revenue recognition, GL account reconciliations and contract site performance reconciliations. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead, develop and mentor a team of 4 Senior AccountantsSupervise the process of timely preparation of client reconciliations in accordance with Subsidy Hospital Customer contracts Review journal entries related to contract revenue for the month end close and ensure they are prepared timely and accurately, and with proper supporting documentationReview and ensure the accuracy and timely completion of AR balance sheet account reconciliationsPartner with Director and Finance Managers in addressing requests from regional leaders regarding customer contract financial reconciliationsDrive continuous business process improvement and automation.Support the annual financial statement audit process Other projects as needs ariseQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:8-10 years of progressive accounting professional experience, including at least 3 years of management experienceBachelor's degree - AccountingStrong knowledge of GAAP, in particular revenue recognitionAdvanced Excel skillsAble to work in a dynamic, fluid, fast-paced, hybrid-remote environmentDESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :SAP, Oracle, Workday (ERP system) experienceHealthcare industry experienceTotal RewardsSalary: $125,000- $135,000 per yearGenerous benefits package, including:Paid Time OffHealth, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insuranceFlexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts401(k)Leadership and professional development opportunitiesThis is a hybrid position.
