They publish local news and information across Melbournes southeast, the Shire of Yarra Ranges, Melbournes west and north, and in Queensland.
The company also publishes a number of niche titles in print and online including area specific Kids publications targeted to parents, as well as numerous education titles under the Themes Education brand. They also publish The Victorian Probian on behalf of the Victorian Probian Association. In recent years the company has taken on a digital focus with Digital Edition ePapers, websites mirroring each of its mastheads, and have a thriving social presence.
Due to their ongoing growth in digital and print media advertising, they have created an exciting opportunity for an Advertising Sales Executive to join their dynamic sales team. The position will be based in Keilor Park. About the Position This position involves advertising sales, across print and digital, servicing the needs of local businesses.
You will be working closely with clients to achieve and exceed customer expectations, maintaining and developing an extensive client base while seeking out new business opportunities.This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to further develop their knowledge and expertise in a well-established, highly progressive and flexible creative business. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible person that has a passion for sales and the media industry.
To be considered for this role, you will possess the following: At least 1 year of experience in a sales role Ability to seek out and meeting new clients; Confidence in your communication skills, oral and written; Comfortable with computers, email, data entry, and new software; Desire to succeed and eagerness to learn; Working with local businesses to meet their goals; Understand relationship management and customer service; Able to interact with people face to face and on the phone; Part-time or full-time positions; Full training provided if required; Have a Current Drivers license and a reliable vehicle.
