About the Role
The Airport Customer Service officer is a casual role that forms a critical component to the success of the Airport Operations. This position is a role that is responsible for the smooth operation of passenger Check in and boarding of passengers onto the aircraft and assisting arriving passengers.
Key Responsibilities
Passenger Check in and boarding of passengers onto the aircraft and assisting arriving passengers
Communicating with Aircraft Pilot and Flight Crew
Providing special assistance to passengers who are disabled or Frail, VIP’s, parents with infants, and unaccompanied minors
Assisting passengers with lost luggage queries
Using the PA system to update passengers
Assisting, as directed, during times of disruption or emergency
Checking and responding to emails
Conducting and assisting with audits
All administration duties as required
Ramp Handling duties
Assisting in cleaning of the Airport Terminal
Other duties as reasonably expected within the scope of the position, abilities, and training
Qualifications/Experience
Current Police Clearance
Hold and maintain a current 'C' class driver's licence
ASIC Card or ability to acquire
Previous Administration experience is highly desirable
