Grade 2 AHA role in outpatient-based cardiopulmonary rehabilitation working in conjunction with a senior nurse and physiotherapist
Part-time, permanent position working Wednesdays and Fridays

About the Role
An exciting opportunity currently exists for an AHA to join the Cardiopulmonary Rehab Team, specialising in delivering subacute rehabilitation programs for predominantly for people with chronic heart failure, cardiac disease and chronic pulmonary conditions. There will be clinical and administrative components to the work.
Your Contribution
Clinical background with cardiopulmonary conditions or other chronic diseases desirable
Good, confident communications skills to develop rapport with clients, and to achieve results when communicating with other health provider networks
Excellent office administration skills, taking initiative and accepting a high level of responsibility for the work
High accuracy when performing data-related work
Flexible nature, changing with the direction of team goals
Ability to negotiate around different IT platforms and applications proficiently
Deliver group exercise and rehabilitation programs in conjunction with the physiotherapist, nurse and other team members
Administration duties to facilitate smooth day-to-day operations of the program and of the office
The classification for this position is IN29 ($61,313 per annum, pro rata for part time).

About the Department
Health Independence Programs (HIP) – Rehab & Clinics: are a group of services that provide time-limited, goal-orientated care for people who have a disability, are frail, chronically ill or recovering from injury or illness to regain optimal function.
These include the Community Rehabilitation Service, Rehab in the Home, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Specialist Clinics including the Continence; Cognitive, Dementia and Memory Service (CDAMS); and the Falls & Balance Clinic.
The Cardiopulmonary Team operates from our Kew and Fairfield sites.
