This is a great opportunity to work directly with our APAC Financial Controller on foundational work for the Finance team that sets us up for success. We are looking for someone who manages tasks independently and efficiently, with the experience to be able to see opportunities for improvements along the way.If you are someone who likes to multi-task, run day-to-day finance responsibilities, as well as work on larger foundational projects - this is the position for you! This is a 6-month contract role, working full time in the office at the start with our team, with the possibility of working hybrid or remote after an initial period.Main Job DutiesYour role would include, but not be limited to the following:Full ownership of Accounts receivable and payable functionMonthly intercompany invoicing and reconciliationResponsible for the completion of monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations for key GL accounts.Assist with internal stakeholder queries in a timely manner.Assist with improving the month-end process.Support the finance project initiatives.Ad hoc tasks as required.Desired Skills & ExperienceMinimum 3 years experience in a similar positionA Bachelor/Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.Studying towards CPA/CAExperience with ERP, MYOB, Xero, or Quickbook would be a plus!Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote, high-growth environment where priorities can changeProactive, go-getter attitudeAttention to detail – No task is too small for you to roll your sleeves up.
