Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Group are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and motivated individuals to the role of Assistant in Nursing.
This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full-Time, Permanent Part-Time, Fixed Term Full-Time and Fixed Term Part-Time appointments, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
To be considered for this role, you MUST hold a Certificate III qualification in
Health Services Assistance (Acute Care).
Undergraduate Registered Nurse pathway AINs and Cert III Health Service Assistants (Aged Care)
are not eligible to apply.
Position Profile: As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver general patient care to patients under the direct supervision and guidance of a Registered Nurse or Midwife. You will perform the primary function of an Assistant in Nursing as defined in the Assistant in Nursing Policy MP 0080/18 (January 2022) and WA Health Assistant in Nursing Duties Policy (March 2022).
Positions are available in various departments including general wards, perioperative, intensive care unit, emergency department, mental health and dialysis.
Area Profile: Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
Fremantle Hospital is a specialist hospital service, with 264 beds. Fremantle Hospital plays a vital role in supporting the tertiary services of Fiona Stanley Hospital and in the ongoing delivery of services to patients within the South Metropolitan Health Service. We offer a range of services including mental health, aged care, rehabilitation and elective surgical.
