With a strong focus on professional consultancy and management solutions, specialising in accounting & tax services, wealth & estate planning, digital & blockchain solutions, incorporation services and HR/employment services.
Your Role:
As a Senior Manager/Associate Director specializing in professional consultancy, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and fostering client relationships in Australia and across the Asia Pacific Region. The global group is looking to expand their global offering into Australia, this role will be instrumental in doing so, with the medium term goal of becoming Managing Director, Australia.
Responsibilities:
Professional Consultancy:
- Provide expert Tax & Accounting consultancy services in Australia
- Coordinate and oversee the professional activities of the firm, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to quality standards.
- Regularly prepare insightful articles and updates on Australian taxation, legal frameworks, market trends, and business insights for dissemination across various marketing channels.
Management:
- Lead and coordinate team members, delegating tasks, ensuring compliance with operating procedures, and meeting client expectations and quality standards.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, monitoring financial performance, and achieving revenue targets approved by the Board of Directors.
- Provide regular reports to the CEO Asia Pacific on mandate status, financial performance, compliance matters, and scheduled business trips and events.
Business Development:
- Promote and sell consulting services in Australia and other targeted regions.
- Organize seminars and events to showcase consulting services and regulatory updates in relevant jurisdictions.
- Support the Group's marketing activities in Australia and contribute to the development of business partnerships and networks.
- Actively participate in marketing initiatives and coordinate efforts with other business units, keeping stakeholders informed of business development activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, consultancy, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of Australian taxation, legal frameworks, and market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership and team coordination skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet revenue targets and manage client portfolios effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Will suit someone in a top 20 chartered accounting firm with a business services or taxation background who is looking for a more entrepreneurial role.
